NATALIE & KEVIN

Natalie & Kevin’s story began at age 5, when they first met at St. Kevin’s Catholic School. They have been dating since middle school, all through college and after they became professionals, Kevin popped the question. This day was truly filled with love - not just between the couple, but also amongst their families, who had been long anticipating this moment.

The bride wore a dress by Monique Lhuillier from the bridal boutique, Chic Parisien - which she looked absolutely stunning in. The couple decided to do a first look since their wedding would be in the evening and they wanted to take advantage of natural lighting. PS Photography & Films effortlessly captured this emotional moment. Before Kevin even tried to turn around to see Natalie for the first time, his emotions got the best of him and tears were already running down his face.

The ceremony took place at St. Kevin’s Catholic Church, where the couple first met as children. Natalie walked down the aisle with one of the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen. The striking bouquet consisted of mauve roses, white ranunculus, pale blush roses and some mild greenery. The Epic Hotel received the guests in their pool area for cocktail hour where they were greeted with a signature drink and live music. The ballroom was decorated with a pastel palette and Ever After Florals added greenery and pale blush florals to compliment the look. The dance floor was wrapped in white material with their monogram in gold to compliment the one on the menus. Elegant Temptations created a marble styled wedding cake using the color palette and actual fresh florals - making for a stunning focal point.

If you know me, you know my favorite part of this celebration was bringing in the University of Miami’s mascot, Sebastian the Ibis. They both graduated from the University of Miami (just like their planner) and attend every football game possible. It was a surprise to the groom and they enjoyed every second of it. Sebastian was happy to use Event Factor’s CO2 guns to make it feel like a pep rally.

“I COULDN’T HELP BUT WONDER….”

The only challenging aspect of Natalie & Kevin’s wedding was the actual distance between the church and the venue. On any given Saturday, it probably wouldn’t have needed such logistical planning - however - Natalie & Kevin’s wedding was on a Friday with the ceremony starting in the middle of rush hour traffic. Due to this minor conflict, we made sure to have hair & makeup, first look and transportation services coordinated earlier than usual since we were leaving from busy Downtown Miami to the West Kendall area. Thanks to Aralimo transportation services, we were able to arrive to the church with ample time - enough for the driver to make a pit stop so this hungry wedding planner can have a “croqueta”…..or four.
